Current Board Members

	Kelly Cooper, President Appointed 03/2008; Term Expires 12/2009 Occupation: Commercial Insurance Account Executive
	Kelly is a commercial insurance account executive at Wells Fargo Insurance. She has lived in Alaska off and on since 1978. Kelly is the past President of the Homer Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on that Board. She served for many years in the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce. Kelly is the mother of three, and the grandmother of three.


	Julie Woodworth, Vice President Appointed 03/2009; Term Expires 12/2011 Occupation: Business Banking Manager
	Julie is a Business Banking Manager with 20 years of banking experience in Alaska. Julie is originally from North Dakota, and moved to Alaska in 1985 with her husband Shane. Their family moved to Homer in 1999, relocating from Dillingham, and enjoy being a part of Homer Community and have a strong attachment to South Peninsula Hospital and value the quality of care provided to the community.


	Nina Allen, Director Appointed 08/2007; Term Expires 12/2010 Occupation: CEO, South Peninsula Behavioral Services
	Nina Allen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who moved from Chicago, Illinois to Nome, Alaska to accept the position of Clinical Director for Behavioral Health for Norton Sound Health Corporation. After 3 years, Nina and her husband Mike moved to Homer where she is currently CEO of The Center. Nina also serves on the Executive Committee as Secretary for the Alaska Behavioral Health Association and was appointed to the Alaska Mental Health Board by Governor Sarah Palin.


	Walt Partridge, Treasurer Appointed 11/2006; Term Expires 12/2010 Occupation: Retired
	Walt is retired. He is the past president of the Board and brings 33 years of corporate management experience in the telecommunication industry to the table. He attained an MBA from the University of Houston. He and his wife, Linda, moved to Homer in 2004 to be near their five grand children. They have two children, a single daughter in Texas and a son, whose family resides in Homer.


	Matt North, Director Appointed 03/2009; Term Expires 12/2010 Occupation: Financial Advisor
	Matt was born and raised in North Dakota, and got his degree at Valley City State University. He is a financial advisor with Edward Jones and has been in Homer since 2003. He lived and worked for two years in Soldotna where he served on the Board of Directors for Hospice. Previously he worked for and managed a home health service. Matt enjoys all outdoor recreation.


	Bernadette Wilson, Secretary Appointed 11/2006; Term Expires 12/2011 Occupation: Records Mgmt, HEA
	Bernie has lived in Alaska since 1970, and Homer since 1978. She has worked as an Army Nurse and spent over 20 years as an RN in both hospital and private practice settings. She currently works in records management for HEA. She serves as a pilot study nurse, critiquing Continuing Education Courses for RN's. She is involved in numerous community organizations and enjoys photography, cooking and spending time with family, friends, & grandchildren.


	Kent Haina, Director Appointed 01/2009; Term Expires 12/2011 Occupation: Charter Fishing & Wilderness Lodge Owner/Operator
	Kent was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended Central Washington University in Washington State, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. Commissioned as an officer in the US Air Force, he flew fighter jets for eight years, then flew airliners around the globe with American Airlines for 17 years before settling down in Homer. He and his wife Kari own and operate a charter fishing business and wilderness lodge.


	Vickey Hodnik, DDS, Director Appointed 04/2009; Occupation: Dentist
	Dr. Hodnik has lived in Alaska for over 30 years, calling Homer her home for 20 of those. She is involved in Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, and was formerly on the hospital's Service Area Board. She runs a private dental practice in Homer.


	Matthew Hambrick, Director Appointed 01/2010; Term ends 12/2012 Occupation: General Contractor
