MARY LOU KELSEY, CNM

Mary Lou Kelsey graduated as a Registered Nurse with  a BSN from the University of Cincinnati in 1975 and the University of Utah, Graduate Nurse Midwifery Program, with a Masters degree.  She completed her internship at Fort Defiance, Arizona.  Mary Lou attained national certification through the American College of Nurse Midwives and has been a Certified Nurse Midwife and an Alaskan  Advanced Nurse Practitioner since 1981.

She has been employed by the Homer Medical Clinic with delivery privileges at South Peninsula Hospital since 1981.  Mary Lou currently is on the Allied Health Practitioner Committee of SPH and continues to be involved in the Homer Medical Clinic to offer personalized birthing services to many local families.

Mary Lou lives with her husband Dr. William Bell, co-founder of Homer Medical Clinic and children Jake and Lauren.
