SPH is governed by a Service Area Board through the Kenai Peninsula Borough, and an Operating Board, which directly governs the hospital's operation. The Service Area Board normally meets on the first Thursday of each month.  The Operating Board normally meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month.  The public is invited to attend these meetings.
